Mary Welty Elementary School

Our Student Council Officers attended the Red Ribbon Luncheon on Thursday. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and for letting our Roadrunners be part of this experience❤️.

Halloween is next Thursday and we are so excited to see everyone's costumes! Students will be allowed to wear their Halloween costumes to join our annual Costume Parade and musical program for students at around 8 a.m. Be sure to like and follow our Facebook page to check it out live! Here are a few reminders for appropriate attire at school: 🎃No gang-related costumes. 🎃No weapons (real or fake) of any kind. 🎃No bare midriff, or excessively short skirts/dresses (Length should be one inch above the knee). 🎃Students who do not participate, must wear their uniforms. StuCo will be hosting a Halloween dance for third through fifth graders from 2:45 to 3:45 pm. They must have a permission slip signed. Let's have some safe fun this Halloween 👻🧡🖤!! - ¡Halloween es el próximo jueves y estamos muy emocionados de ver los disfraces de todos! A los estudiantes se les permitirá usar sus disfraces de Halloween para unirse a nuestro desfile de disfraces anual y programa musical para estudiantes alrededor de las 8 a. m. ¡Asegúrese de darle me gusta y seguir nuestra página de Facebook para verlo en vivo! Yeehaw🤠! It's great to have all you cowboys and cowgirls back in town. Let's saddle up and get ready for another amazing adventure, our 2nd quarter of this school year! See you back tomorrow at 7:30 am, 7 am for those of you have morning tutoring. All morning and after school activities resume tomorrow. We can't wait to see you💛!

Tomorrow's Red Ribbon Week theme, "Give Drugs the Boot," fits perfectly with our theme for this school year. Students can wear boots or western attire, just like some of our favorite characters 🤠❤️.

Attention parents of students who live at Mariposa Manor. On Monday, October 7 through Wednesday, October 9, students will not be left off or picked up at their normal bus stop🚍🛑. Due to construction in that area, the stop will be on the corner of Manor and Industrial Park. Thank you💛.
