Hello October!! π»π Calendar and Menu

Buzz Lightyear would say, "To infinity and beyond!"
Let's make our school a place where everyone is always present, just like Woody and Buzz are always there for each other. Our goal is to achieve a 95% or better attendance rate! Mondays have been a bit of a challenge lately, but together, we can overcome any obstacle, just like the Toy Story gang. Today, we fell a bit short with 87% attendance. Let's regroup and strive for even better results for the rest of the week.
Why Attendance Matters:
Missed days add up: Even a few missed days can be like losing precious toys in a toy story adventure. It's important to be there every day to collect all the knowledge and experiences.
Tardiness is a concern: Arriving late can disrupt the learning environment, just like a villain interrupting a fun adventure.
Impact on the whole class: Absences and tardiness can slow down the pace of learning, like when a toy gets lost and the whole team has to search for it.
Benefits of Regular Attendance:
Improved academic performance: Consistent attendance is crucial for students to fully grasp concepts and succeed academically, just like Buzz always aims for the stars.
Positive mindset: Attending school regularly fosters a positive attitude towards education and a sense of belonging, like the camaraderie among the toys.
Building a strong foundation: Developing a strong attendance habit in early childhood sets students up for success in high school and beyond, just like Woody and Buzz's friendship has stood the test of time.
Let's work together to create a culture of regular attendance at our school, just like the toys in Toy Story always stick together through thick and thin!

Thank you to the Nogales Rotary Club for providing our third graders with their dictionaries todayπ! We are extremely grateful for your dedication to our students and communityπ.

Woody takes his job as Sheriff very seriouslyβοΈπ€ . He thinks we should do the same with our job as Roadrunners, "You've got a job to do, and that job is to be here every day!"
Don't forget everyday counts! Last week our average attendance was 93%, but we can do better than that. Remember if our average is 96% or better for the week, everyone present every day for that week gets a free uniform pass the following Monday.
Let's make Sheriff Woody proud and be present everyday this weekππ€ππ€!
