Our Welty Día de Los Muertos altar has grown with even more love and memories🤍! We've updated the display with new photos honoring the cherished family members of our students and staff. A huge, roaring congratulations to Ms. Pérez's Second Grade Swamp-Dwellers for winning October's "Race Towards Perfect Attendance!" 🥳💚🏆 For proving they've got the most layers of dedication, this week they've earned a special "Donkey's Choice" no-uniform pass! They can rock their favorite swamp attire (just no actual mud, please!). Now, let's see which class has the gumption and get-up-and-go to claim the prize for November! Boo👻! You're Invited to Our Halloween Dance🎃!

​All third, fourth, and fifth graders are invited to our spooky school dance this Thursday, October 30 from 2:45 to 3:45 PM.

​The entrance fee is just $1, and we'll have refreshments for sale! Every student must have a permission slip signed.

Please note that a bus will be available for all dancers, or they can be picked up by 3:45 pm.

Martinez ​Their lives and legacies are dearly missed and will forever be a part of the Welty community🤍🕊.

Halloween is next Friday and we are so excited to see everyone's costumes!

Students will be allowed to wear their Halloween costumes to join our annual Costume Parade and musical program for students at around 9 a.m. Be sure to like and follow our Facebook page to check it out live! Please see attached flyer for more information.

Here are a few reminders for appropriate attire at school:
🎃No gang-related costumes.
🎃No weapons (real or fake) of any kind.
🎃No bare midriff, or excessively short skirts/dresses (Length should be one inch above the knee).
🎃Students who do not participate, must wear their uniforms.

StuCo will be hosting a Halloween dance for third through fifth graders from 2:45 to 3:45 pm on Thursday, October 30th. They must have a permission slip signed.

A los estudiantes se les permitirá usar sus disfraces de Halloween para unirse a nuestro desfile de disfraces anual y programa musical para estudiantes alrededor de las 9 a. m. ¡Asegúrese de darle me gusta y seguir nuestra página de Facebook para verlo en vivo!
