Providing healthy, well-balanced meals is important to us at Nogales Unified. We understand that bodies need to be fed before minds can be fed. That’s one of the reasons we provide free breakfast and lunch for all our students—a great way to start their day and maintain brain power throughout. Sodexo operates our food service program.

The key to the success of the program, however, is in receiving meal applications from everyone, even those who would not qualify in previous years due to their household income. The forms are crucial to establishing a baseline through which we can secure future funding. We’ve included the form and detailed information for you at the bottom of this page. Simply fill out the form and bring it into the school office, and we’ll take care of it from there.

Children need healthy meals to learn. Nogales Unified School District #1 will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, Nogales Unified School District #1 will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Program. Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application.
