Bracker Dolphins! Today is a special day because we’ve reached the 100th day of school! Can you believe it? That’s 100 days of learning, growing, and becoming smarter every single day. Think back to the first day of school—do you remember how excited and maybe a little nervous you were? Since then, we’ve learned so much! We’ve practiced reading, solved math problems, explored new ideas in science, and created amazing projects. Every day, you’ve worked hard, and now look at how much you’ve grown! But it hasn’t just been about learning. We’ve celebrated our 2nd National Blue Ribbon, birthdays, holidays, and fun events together such as the Christmas parade. We’ve made new friends, helped each other, and shared so many smiles and laughs. The 100th day is a reminder of everything we’ve accomplished so far—and there’s so much more to look forward to! Keep being curious, working hard, and believing in yourselves. Let’s also take a moment to thank our parents, PTC, teachers, support staff, and community volunteers for making sure we can learn, have fun, and get the best education ever! Congratulations on making it to 100 days of school! Let’s keep growing and learning together! Piensen en el primer día de clases: ¿recuerdan lo emocionado y tal vez un poco nervioso que estaban? Desde entonces, ¡hemos aprendido mucho! Practicamos la lectura, resolvimos problemas de matemáticas, exploramos nuevas ideas en ciencias y creamos proyectos increíbles. ¡Todos los días han trabajado duro y ahora mira cuánto han crecido! Pero no se ha tratado sólo de aprender. Hemos celebrado juntos nuestro segundo Listón Azul Nacional, cumpleaños, días festivos y eventos especiales, como el desfile de Navidad. Bracker Dolphins we have exciting news!!! The Book Fair is at Bracker Elementary this week. Starting today, January 21, 2025 to January 27, 2025. To celebrate the new movie Dog Man coming out at the end of this month you will receive a free Dog Man comic book with any purchase all week long. Dear Bracker Parents and Guardians, We want to inform you that the Valle Verde Water service at Desert Shadows Middle School and Robert Bracker Elementary will be temporarily shut off today for approximately 2-3 hours due to a mainline break repair. During this time, we will ensure that students and staff are comfortable and have access to essential resources, including: Clean water for drinking. Portable hand washing stations and hand sanitizer are available in all restrooms and common areas. Classes will continue as early release is scheduled, and we are taking every measure to minimize disruptions to the school day. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as Valle Verde Water addresses the issue. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office at 520-377-2646 for DSMS and 520-377-2886 for Robert Bracker Elementary.

Huge shout out to 5th grade teacher Czarina Baldenegro and her student Mathias Hernandez for winning the 2024 Character Education Poster contest. Mathias was the sole elementary school recipient of this award. Congratulations!

Bracker Dolphins! On Monday, January 13th, we start our Morning Tutoring and all of our After School Activities. Tutoring will only be in the mornings from 7:00am to 7:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays. After School Activities will be from 3:00pm to 3:45pm on Mondays , Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tutoring permission slips were sent out this week for those students that were recommended by their teachers. For the after school activities, all the clubs remain the same except for Jr. Rangers, which was held on Thursdays. All students will continue in the same clubs and on the same days. Attached is a schedule of the days and clubs held on each day. For this semester, we will be adding a Book Club and a Band Club. Book Club will be held on Mondays and Thursdays and it will be for 2nd grade only. Band Club will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it will be for 3rd and 4th grade only. Permission slips will be send to those students in the above mentioned grades for the new clubs. Please contact our office for more information or clarification. ¡Delfines de Bracker! El Lunes 13 de Enero comenzamos nuestra tutoría matutina y todas nuestras actividades extraescolares. Las tutorías serán únicamente en horario de la mañana de 7:00 a 7:30am, los Lunes, Martes, Miércoles y Jueves. Las actividades extraescolares serán de 3:00 p. m. a 3:45 p. m. los Lunes, Martes y Jueves. Esta semana se enviaron hojas de permiso de tutoría para aquellos estudiantes que fueron recomendados por sus maestros. Para las actividades extraescolares, todos los clubes siguen iguales a excepción del Jr. Rangers, que se realizaba los Jueves. Todos los alumnos seguirán en los mismos clubes y los mismos días. Se adjunta un hoja con los días y clubes que se ofrecen cada día. Para este semestre, agregaremos un club de lectura y un club de banda. El club de lectura se llevará a cabo los Lunes y Jueves y será solo para 2do grado. El Club de Banda se llevará a cabo los Martes y Jueves y será solo para 3º y 4º grado.
