Subject: Bracker Elementary Holiday Lights Parade Float – Participation & Donations Dear Bracker Families, We are excited to announce that Robert M. Bracker Elementary will be participating in this year’s Holiday Lights Parade with our very own float! We invite all Bracker students, grades K-5, to join in the festivities and help make this a memorable event. To bring our float to life, we welcome donations of holiday lights, as well as cash or checks made out to the Bracker Parent-Teacher Committee. Your support will help us create a magical and festive float for our school community. Participation Details: * All Bracker students (K-5) are welcome to participate. * Students must provide advance notice if they would like to join the float. * All participants are encouraged to wear pajamas or Elf costumes for the parade. * Parents are required to be present as spectators for the duration of the parade unless they are on the float committee. * Parents must be available to pick up their child immediately at the end of the parade. Huge shout out to Ms. Osuna for winning The Fiesta Bowl Foundation. She was awarded a $2,500 grant through its "Wishes for Teachers" program. The program aims to help educators fund classroom needs, with wishes including supplies, books, and equipment. Teachers had to apply for the grants online during a specific window in September 2025 to be eligible.  Great job Ms. Osuna! You represent the best of all us. Mr. Payne

Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce that Robert Bracker Elementary will be participating in this year’s City of Nogales Christmas Lights Parade on Saturday, December 6th! To make our entry a success, we need your help. We are forming a committee of parent volunteers to help organize and bring our Christmas parade float to life.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with:

* Gathering donations for supplies
* Attending planning meetings
* Designing and decorating the float
* Registering the float with the city
* Pulling the float during the parade
* Including our students in the parade display

Your time and creativity will make a huge difference! Time is of the essence, so if you are interested in helping or have any questions, please contact Mr. Payne as soon as possible.

Let’s work together to make this a memorable event for our students and community!

Good morning Bracker parents, we will have a parade and trick or treat next Friday October 31st. Parents are all invited to the parade at 800 a.m. we are accepting candy donations starting today for the students.

​Dear Robert M. Bracker Elementary Parents and Guardians, ​We are pleased to share that the water line repair is now complete and the water service at Robert M. Bracker Elementary School has been fully restored. ​School will resume tomorrow, Friday, October 24th, at the regularly scheduled time. ​We sincerely thank all parents and guardians for your patience and flexibility during this unexpected closure. We also apologize for the inconvenience this sudden issue caused today. Good evening parents/guardians, We were notified this afternoon by the Southwestern Utility Management, which oversees Valle Verde Water Company, that due to damage, they will be shutting off the water tomorrow to repair a break in the water line.  Due to this utility closure, we will cancel classes at Robert M. Bracker Elementary School and at Desert Shadows Middle School tomorrow, Thursday Oct. 23, 2025. The company anticipates that repairs will be completed late tomorrow; if not, we will notify you. Therefore, unless there are any issues, we will resume classes at both schools on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation tomorrow.
