We will see everyone back on Monday, March 17, 2025. Students will be allowed to wear green tops with khaki bottoms for St. Patrick's Day🍀. All tutoring and other programs will resume. Have a safe and restful break.

We are deeply saddened that we've lost our dear principal secretary, Claudia Martinez. Mrs. Martinez's dedication to our family was truly inspiring. Her journey at Welty began as a parent volunteer. She then became an instructional aide, then the computer lab specialist, and more recently, the principal's secretary. During all of her roles at Welty, she always showed her dedication, kindness, optimism, compassion, and humility. But the most important quality she possessed was the love she showed for others. Let's carry on her legacy by embodying the values she lived by. We'll always remember Mrs. Martinez for her beautiful smile and her positive, warrior spirit💪✨💛. May she and her family be wrapped in the warm glowing light of all of our love🩷.

Welcome to March💐🩷💛! We're thrilled to anticipate the arrival of Spring and all the exciting events this month brings. Mark your calendars: next week is Read Across America and parent-teacher conferences. Following that, we'll enjoy Spring Break. Upon our return, our 3rd-5th grade students will focus on AASA testing preparation and administration. Our Welty StuCo went to the Mexican Consulate on Monday to be part of their Mexican Flag Day 🇲🇽 ceremony.

Our school's reading celebration, Read Across America Week is coming next week📚💛! Show your spirit by participating, starting Monday, March 3rd to Friday, March 7th. If you choose not to participate, you must wear your uniform. Please see attached flyer with the theme for each day.
