Our February Roadrunners of the Month 💕 .
Congratulations, we are so proud of your hard work and dedication💛!

We are deeply saddened that we've lost our dear principal secretary, Claudia Martinez.
Mrs. Martinez's dedication to our family was truly inspiring. Her journey at Welty began as a parent volunteer. She then became an instructional aide, then the computer lab specialist, and more recently, the principal's secretary. During all of her roles at Welty, she always showed her dedication, kindness, optimism, compassion, and humility. But the most important quality she possessed was the love she showed for others.
Let's carry on her legacy by embodying the values she lived by. We'll always remember Mrs. Martinez for her beautiful smile and her positive, warrior spirit💪✨💛. May she and her family be wrapped in the warm glowing light of all of our love🩷.

Congratulations to Abigail Zepeda for winning this year's Future Chef's Culinary competition 🥳👩🍳!
We are so proud of you and your dedication! You are awesome💛!

The fourth-annual AZ529 Future Career Art Contest, which launches today, asks students to bring their dreams to life on paper. Students are asked to draw, paint or find a creative way to make artwork representing their dream job.
A total of 15 winners will be selected across the state and receive $529 towards opening a new or existing AZ529 Education Savings Plan account. One winner will be selected from each of Arizona’s 15 counties and at least one winner each representing a district, charter, private school, tribal school and homeschool will be selected. Winners will be honored by Treasurer Kimberly Yee during a special ceremony at the State Capitol at the end of March.
