Hooray! Today was the last day of tutoring and 21st Century activities for this first semester! We'll be back in action after our Winter Break on Monday, January 6th, 2025.

Today's theme was "Deck the Hall." Our students wore their ugly holiday shirts/sweaters🎅🌲❤️.
As a reminder, tomorrow we have our Christmas concert. Students are allowed to wear Christmas clothing for our concert along with their Christmas accessories for tomorrow's Spirit Week theme. If students do not wear Christmas clothing, they must wear their uniforms.

Today, the incredible Welty Chorus spread holiday magic throughout our community! 🎄 Together with other schools' talented singers, they filled hearts with joy and filled the air with the sounds of the season.
A huge thank you to each and every member of the chorus for representing Welty with such pride and talent! You all were absolutely amazing✨! And of course, a heartfelt thank you to their inspiring director, Mr. Moehlman, for guiding these talented singers.

Nattaly Rodriguez was honored this Tuesday at the 2024 OELAS Conference in Phoenix. Nattaly was one of four winners of the Student Success Story award. This award is given to students who have noteworthy accomplishments in English language acquisition and academic achievement. We are so proud of Nattaly for earning this special award. Congratulations to this shining star and her amazing, supportive family! 💛
