We are thrilled to announce that Andres Garcia was selected as a recipient of the AZ19 Most Influential Youth awards!💚🥳🎖
Andres was nominated for this award by his teacher, Mrs. Peral. This is what Mrs. Peral had to say about our amazing Andres:
"I am honored to nominate Andres Garcia for the AZ19 Most Influential Youth award. Andres is the definition of a quiet leader. He is someone who doesn't seek the spotlight but constantly improves the lives of those around him through consistent kindness. What sets Andres apart is his incredible intuition for when a peer is struggling. Whether it’s a classmate having trouble with a difficult assignment or someone feeling left out on the playground, Andres is always the first to step in. He doesn't wait to be asked; he simply offers his help with a patience and empathy that is rare for his age. Our classroom is now more welcoming and encouraging because of his readiness to help any student, no matter what. He demonstrates that all it takes to be influential is a big heart and a helping hand, not a formal title. It's a swap! Students dress like their favorite teacher, and teachers will be dressing like students.

Applications for the Girls & Boys Club Summer Program are officially open. Students will have the opportunity to experience STEM projects, water days, arts, and sports. Lunch and snacks will be provided daily, so your kids stay fueled for all the excitement.
