At Lincoln, student safety is our top priority. We want to ensure that all concerns—especially those related to bullying—are addressed promptly and thoroughly.
You may report concerns in two ways:
• Complete our online bullying report form: https://forms.gle/Y3pquviLLsybq5Qz8
• Pick up and return a paper form in the front office
A folder labeled **“Bullying Forms”** is available in the front office with:
• Blank forms
• A place to turn in completed forms
Once a report is received, our team will follow up within 24 hours.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep Lincoln safe and supportive for all students.
We are the Lincoln Pride! ROAR!
Abe’s Academy was a big hit this Saturday. Our students worked on a paragraph writing prompt about how to make a sandwich, and then they had the chance to follow their own directions to make one. To top it off, they also enjoyed a fun science experiment by making their own ice cream.
Who says school on Saturday at Lincoln can’t be fun?
We are proud of our students for learning, writing, creating, and having fun all at the same time. I will be adding pictures to this post to share some of the great moments from the day.

We are excited to introduce Duck a Bus, a schoolwide PBIS initiative designed to promote positive bus behavior and celebrate the important role our drivers play each day.
Our goal is to ensure the bus feels like an extension of our school community — safe, supportive, and focused on helping students succeed.
🎯 Lincoln ROAR Expectations on the Bus
Students are recognized for demonstrating:
Respectful
• Use kind words
• Appropriate voice level (0–1)
• Listen to the driver
On Task
• Stay seated, facing forward
• Remember your bus
Act Safely
• Keep hands and feet to yourself
• Watch for traffic when entering/exiting
Responsible
• Keep belongings secure
• No eating or drinking
• Report problems to adults
⭐ How Students Earn Recognition
• Drivers award Bus Duck Bucks for positive behavior
• Students can save and redeem Duck Bucks for incentives
• From February 17 – March 13, buses work toward becoming a Best Bus (no referrals)
• Winning buses are recognized during school announcements
🚍 Celebrating Our Drivers
• A student presents a Dash Duck to the winning driver
• Drivers are recognized monthly with appreciation treats
💛 How Families Can Support
• Review bus expectations with your child
• Encourage respectful and safe choices
• Celebrate positive bus behavior at home
When school and home share the same message, it makes a powerful difference.
Thank you for partnering with us to make every ride safe, respectful, and positive!
Warmly,
Ms. Burkett
