We extend our gratitude to SCC Superintendent Alfredo Velasquez for inviting us to the First Annual Bi-National Inter-Mayoral Summit. Our Fire Service students and IB candidates had a great time connecting with the nominees for Firefighter of the Year and forming new relationships. Furthermore, our Jazz band always appreciates the opportunity to perform and entertain the masses. Congratulations to everyone who received recognition, as this is truly a significant honor.

Late Post! Congrats to our Track Team at the Willie Williams Classic! They just had another meet over the weekend, which we will be updating this week with a post. They did phenomenal. We are always APACHE PROUD!!

Our NHS Robotics Team excelled at the recent FIRST Robotics Competition, held from March 12-15, 2025, in Flagstaff, AZ. Their representation of our school was outstanding! The event featured 40 teams from various regions, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Chinese Taipei, Mexico, and the Netherlands. This diverse participation provided our students with a unique opportunity to connect with peers from different backgrounds and showcase their skills on an international stage. In the 2025 Season Rankings, the team achieved a commendable standing. A memorable highlight was when Sofia Milner, one of the team members, was selected to sing the national anthem during both the opening and closing ceremonies. This honor not only highlighted our student's talent but also brought significant recognition to our school.

Congratulations to our Pride of Nogales band and auxiliary for their impressive performance as they marched down Main Street at Disneyland during spring break! It was a remarkable sight, with our band capturing attention and earning Mickey's seal of approval!

Attendance plays a crucial role in student success. We are actively developing more incentives for students who maintain a daily attendance rate of 95%. Our aim is to achieve both a 95% daily and an overall monthly attendance rate. We have noticed fluctuations in attendance, particularly on Fridays. Every day counts for learning, and we are committed to helping students establish successful habits. Please assist us in reaching our goal for March. In February, we achieved an overall daily average attendance of 91%, which is about the same as last year. In February, we had 2 days with 95% attendance and 16 days exceeding 90%. Let’s work together to make March even better and ensure everyone is present each day!

We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back tomorrow, March 17th!
Prepare to learn and don your green attire!
Every day matters, and our target for March is an impressive 95% overall attendance!
Your presence is essential for our collective success, and we truly miss you when you’re not here!
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
