You are mentors, motivators, and advocates. You light the path for students, not just with knowledge, but with compassion, patience, and encouragement. Through challenges and triumphs, you show up—day after day—with the belief that every student has potential and purpose.
Thank you for inspiring minds, shaping futures, and changing lives. Your work is not only valued—it is deeply appreciated.

# Apache Jazz Ensemble Triumphs
The Apache Jazz Ensemble secured 1st place in the 6A division, outpacing formidable competitors such as Beloit Memorial High School from Wisconsin and last year's champions, the Lincoln Jazz Collective from South Dakota.
Nicolas Treto was recognized as the most outstanding musician.
Scotty Barnhart, the current band leader and solo trumpet player for the Count Basie Jazz Orchestra, expressed his amazement at our jazz band's ability to capture the spirit and musicianship of the Count Basie Jazz Orchestra. Barnhart is interested in visiting Nogales soon to collaborate with his band for a concert!
On top of all this, we achieved impressive scores: three perfect scores of 100 and one score of 98! We are APACHE PROUD!!!!

Good afternoon, NHS Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation this afternoon as the district, site administration, and the Nogales Police Department collaborated to investigate the threat received earlier today.
This email serves to inform you that the threat has been deemed not credible, and a suspect is currently in custody. We will proceed with regular dismissal at 2 pm. Cars will be permitted on campus at 2:30 pm for student pick-up, following the established normal dismissal protocol once buses have departed.
Sincerely,
Renee Travers

Good Afternoon NHS Parents and Guardians--
We received an electronic threat and, out of an abundance of caution, placed the school on lockdown. Nogales Police Department officers are on scene investigating the threat. All students are safe, but while officers investigate, the campus will be closed and visitors will not be permitted on campus.
We will provide another update to you as more information becomes available, and we appreciate your cooperation and support.
Thank you,
Renee Travers, NHS Principal
