Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
Whether your family is returning to Lincoln or joining us for the very first time, I am honored that you have entrusted us with your child. It is a privilege to serve this incredible community, and I look forward to partnering with you throughout the year.
At Lincoln Elementary, we believe that every child has unique gifts, talents, and leadership potential. Our responsibility is not only to help students achieve academic success, but also to develop confident, compassionate, and responsible leaders who are prepared for whatever comes next.
This year, our theme is Level Up!
Leveling up isn't about being perfect—it is about growing every day. Sometimes that growth looks like mastering a new reading skill, solving a challenging math problem, making a new friend, showing kindness, or refusing to give up when something feels difficult. Every small step forward is worth celebrating.
As a Leader in Me school, we believe leadership is for everyone. Every student can lead, every family plays an important role, and every staff member is committed to helping children discover their strengths and achieve their personal best.
Our commitment to you is simple:
We will provide a safe, welcoming, and caring learning environment.
We will maintain high expectations while supporting every child's individual needs.
We will communicate openly and partner with families throughout the year.
We will celebrate growth, effort, leadership, and academic achievement.
We will always keep students at the center of every decision we make.
In return, we ask families to partner with us by ensuring students attend school every day, arrive on time, read at home, complete assignments, and communicate with us whenever questions or concerns arise. Together, we can accomplish far more than any of us could alone.
Thank you for believing in Lincoln Elementary and for allowing us to be part of your child's educational journey.
I am excited for everything we will accomplish together as we continue to Level Up!
With appreciation,
Mrs. Saralee Burkett
Principal
