We have another exciting week ahead at Lincoln! Tutoring begins, our newly elected Student Council leaders are getting started, and we will finish the week with Fall Picture Day. Please review the important information below so your Lion is ready for the week.
🎯 Tutoring Begins Tuesday!
Title I Academic Tutoring begins Tuesday, September 15. Tutoring is held after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays until 3:45 p.m.
An afternoon snack/meal will be provided on tutoring days.
Please remember our tutoring and club expectations:
If a student misses tutoring on Monday or Tuesday, the student must make up that tutoring day and will not participate in their Thursday club that week.
Students who reach 10 absences may not participate in clubs or extracurricular activities. Parents/guardians must meet with the attendance team and appeal for their student to participate.
Daily, on-time attendance is important not only for classroom instruction, but also for participation in our after-school academic and enrichment opportunities.
Attendance letters will be going home this week.

Club information will be available in the front office and directly from club sponsors. We will also post a complete list of Lincoln's after-school clubs this week.
Please return all club permission slips by the deadline provided by your club sponsor.

Only students who received a permission slip are participating. Please return those permission slips as soon as possible.
STUCO officers and representatives are also working on an art project for submission to the fair. Families, please help your student complete and return the project no later than Tuesday so we can get it to the fairgrounds on time.

Students will learn about their Circle of Control and practice recognizing the difference between things they can control—such as their effort, attitude, words, actions, and responses—and things outside their control. This directly follows our Leader in Me focus on helping students put their energy toward the choices they can affect.
