The AZ19 Most Influential Youth breakfast was held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Sahuarita, Arizona. The AZ19 Most Influential Youth Award focuses on honoring those young people who’ve come through a difficult year yet still contribute to their community. The Nogales Unified School District #1 is honored to feature three magnificent students who were selected for the award. The students demonstrated commitment, perseverance, and empathy while making an impact on their school community. 

The students honored were:
Pamela Carbajal from Wade Carpenter Middle School
Marilyn Sanchez from Pierson High School
Demiss Alvarez from Nogales High School
Juan Mezquita from Nogales High School
