Nogales Unified Student Services

The Nogales Unified School District Student Services Department is responsible for many aspects of a student’s life from start to finish. Beginning with registration of new students, we handle all of the students' records and previous student records' requests. Our office handles:

  • open enrollment applications
  • all special education procedures
  • compliance issues
  • maintenance of student records
  • gifted education
  • student health concerns
  • questions regarding Medicaid
  • child abuse and neglect awareness and reporting

Our goal is to provide services and information that support and assist our students, parents, and staff. Our students come first in all we do.

Notice to Access Benefits or Insurance

Before the school district accesses a parent’s or child’s Medicaid or other publicly funded benefits (i.e. AHCCCS) for the first time to seek reimbursement for services provided to an eligible student, and annually thereafter, written notice is required to inform parents. The following documents serve as this notice.

Child Protection Forms

Child safety is top priority in our district. If necessary, please use the following forms to immediately report any suspected abuse or neglect.
