The Grants Department monitors the financial management of grants including budget preparation, budget adjustments, and expenditures. Essential functions of our department consist of, but are not limited to:

• collaborating with a variety of parties for the purpose of securing funding to maintain and enhance services
• coordinating all grant processes for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the district and federal guidelines
• matching the priority areas of a grant with the needs of the district
• researching grant opportunities
• conducting grant workshops for the purpose of increasing staff skills in obtaining funds  

All our schools benefit from funds secured by federal grants. Title I, Title II, Title III, and the IDEA grants are just of few of the many grants that support school and district planning through the use of funds for salaries, benefits, instructional supplies, parental involvement efforts, and/or capital outlay. With this in mind, the grants department is committed to securing and maintaining federal, state, and local grants in an effort to best support the students and staff within our district.
